Cville Tree Week!

We are tree-mendously excited to invite your organization to participate in the first-ever Cville Tree Week, taking place November 1–7, 2026!

This citywide celebration is designed to bring together residents, educators, and local organizations to honor our urban forest. Our goal is to create a lasting tradition that fosters meaningful connections between our community and the natural world.

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Collaboration is at the heart of Tree Week, and we are looking for partners to help bring this vision to life. Your organization can contribute by:

  • Hosting Events: Organize workshops, guided tree walks, or educational programs.

  • Hands-on Action: Lead tree plantings or volunteer-driven care activities.

  • Youth Engagement: Work alongside Voices for Change to involve young people in planning and leadership.

  • Spreading the Word: Share expertise or promote scheduled events through your professional networks.

By joining us, you’ll help support ReLeaf Cville’s mission to protect our existing canopy and expand public education regarding urban forestry.

Next Steps If you are interested in hosting an event or collaborating with us, please complete the Tree Week interest form.

For those looking for inspiration, we recommend reviewing the University of Kentucky’s guide to citywide Tree Weeks, which helped inspire this local initiative.
