Sponsored by ReLeaf, Cville Tree Week is a new annual citywide celebration of trees and urban forestry in Charlottesville, with the first event taking place this fall, 2026

Throughout the week, community members are invited to participate in workshops, hands-on activities, and public events that focus on caring for trees and learning about their role in Charlottesville’s environment and neighborhoods. These events highlight the importance of a healthy urban canopy and support ReLeaf’s mission to grow and care for Charlottesville’s trees.

How You Can Get Involved:

Collaboration is at the heart of Tree Week, and we are looking for partners to help bring this vision to life. Your organization can contribute by:

Hosting Events: Organize workshops, guided tree walks, or educational programs.

Hands-on Action: Lead tree plantings or volunteer-driven care activities.

Youth Engagement: Work alongside Voices for Change to involve young people in planning and leadership.

Spreading the Word: Share expertise or promote scheduled events through your professional networks.

Next Steps If you are interested in hosting an event or collaborating with us, please complete the Tree Week interest form.
